Please describe your relevant analytical skills. As a bankruptcy trustee I have overseen thousands of individual bankruptcy reorganization cases managing millions of dollar each year in disbursements to creditors.
Please describe your ability to be impartial. I have been a chapter 13 trustee for over 35 years and have overseen these cases. Financial distress is not limited to any particular creed or color and have translated those skills in managing cases.
Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. I have lived in Austin for 35 years and have seen it grow from a small city to a large urban area. Although people moving here now see it as a large city I remember when the pace was slower, more friendly , less hostile and divisive. I think I could bring politeness to the table as well as fairness.
Please provide your employment history. Fair and impartial in my job, my position requires consensus building and negotiating to reach a Plan confirmation and I believe I could bring those skills to the table.
Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. As a longer term resident I could bring the history of Austin back as a friendlier, happier place to be. Divisiveness and lack of free speech are recent trends my history of being a longer term resident would be what helps me to be a more qualified applicant.
