Please describe your ability to be impartial. Understand the importance of having every citizen the opportunity to have a voice in the governance of our city, county, state, and United States. Too often in the city of Austin a few individuals shout over the voices of their neighbors. They bully and inflect their will on the other citizens following 'the rules.' Everyone's neighborhood must be treated equally. Every issue can not be a win or loose situation.

Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. My appreciation of the difference and similarities between neighborhoods and citizens is immense. Having lived here for 60 years I have experienced and witnessed firsthand the economic, demographic, population, and social changes which have occurred. We are no longer dependent on state government and the University of Texas for our primary employment base. We have vibrant population in the suburbs and in the downtown area.
Please provide your employment history. Retired from the state after 33 years. Held positions to include traffic modeler, public transportation planner, emergency management, and state safety oversight manager. Have also over 10 years experience working for several grocery stores.
Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. Since Austin went to a 10 member council district the members look more like me. They speak more like me. They think more like me. The old guard is part of the process instead of the only folks pushing through the process.
