I have experience in the labor market and economic data analysis for primary research. I have also used skills in various levels of forecasting and working as a team to develop forecast models on enrollments within my current job. I have experience with both quantitative and qualitative data mining and analysis at various levels and depths. Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. Austin is a very diverse community in many ways. The racial diversity of Austin as a majority-minority community (more non-white than minority groups) lends to the spectrum of people, cultures, communities, languages, and ideas. Austin has a very younger skewed set of ages than some other peer MSA areas in Texas. The youth bring challenges that push the boundaries of the status quo and keep moving the measures to ensure Austin states diverse
Please provide your employment history. AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE, 2010 TO PRESENT INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS ANALYST • Track and update college strategic measures and metrics, data snapshots, and report cards, and develop and deliver the annual compliance report to the Board of Trustees for Board Policy. Developed an annual “college-wide” dashboard. • Orchestrate and manage research and analysis to support district strategic planning, program evaluation, decision making, and governmental reporting requirements to include complex administrative reports addressing district goals, initiatives, and performance metrics. • Evaluate complex data from multiple sources and generate summaries, reports, and recommendations regarding strategic planning, continuous improvement, and institutional effectiveness. • Deduce and implement the appropriate research and analytical methodologies for highly complex, strategic, and operational issues. • Execute trend analysis using historical, current, and projected data to identify patterns and areas for improvement. • Formulate complex analytical and statistical methods to respond to requests for queries from the college community. • Create and maintain custom computer programs to support internal and external reports, including state and federal reporting as well as reporting to other external stakeholders.
