Please describe your relevant analytical skills. I've worked with large data sets as a part of research projects for for-profit companies. This has included analysis for traffic data, flight logs, customer surveys, and market research.
Please describe your ability to be impartial. Preserving our democracy requires the impartiality of any jury or commission tasked with creating real solutions for citizens. It would be my ethical and moral obligation to be impartial as a part of my work on this commission. In addition, if you're familiar with Myers-Briggs, I'm an INFJ; of all the personality types, I'm most naturally wired to pursue fairness in everything I do.
Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. I'm an Austin native, and know every corner of the city well. I'm a map geek, and have been since kindergarten - and once drew a map of Central Austin from memory in third grade. I understand the city (geographically and socially) in ways many don't, and want to use that perspective to help this effort. Additionally - I've witnessed many of the city's demographic friction points first-hand, through my work in the community.
Please provide your employment history. Here's my full employment history: https://www.linkedin.com/in/briannunnery/ My relevant experience includes marketing and communications, emceeing, public speaking, and data analysis. I'd bring a unique mix of community management, corporate communications, project management, and analytical strategy to the commission.
Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a better candidate, honestly.
