Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. Austin's diverse demographics and geography still to this day surprises me. Being a Michigan transplant I was overwhelmed to discover Barton Springs! As well as, all the hiking, rock climbing, parks and water sports that were just a walk away from any zip code I lived in at the time. As a Hispanic womxn, who was welcomed into Austin 11 years ago my love affair grows stronger everyday. Dispute the current situation with Covid19, I am thankfully and still able to work. As an Essential Worker, my life has continued forward and I am able to see the community that is always there to lift my spirits and warm my heart. Which have since turned me into an Austinite. I love the City of Austin there is never a dull movement. We are a community that supports one another and lends a hand when needed. I am a part of Austin diverse demographic and support its geography; As a home owner and philanthropist that servers the community.
Please provide your employment history. In 2009 I moved to Austin and worked at Texas Coffee Traders, running catering and events. As well as their donations and sponsorship's, negotiating contracts with ACL Live Moody Theater and Austin Marriott. Managed One World Theater Box Office, Green Room, Wedding and Events. Hospitality industry, Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, Imports Supplier and Texas Chain Manager to current position TX Brand Development Manager.

I transplanted to Austin in 2009 after graduating high school and working at Grand Tetons National Park for the summer. I was able to transfer work as I was employed by OSI (Outback Steak house, Carrabba's & Cheeseburger in Paradise) I lived in 78704 for years, took a zip code leap into the 78702 off Tillery Street and now am a home owner in 78744. I have worked my way through the communityand have seen the overwhelming growth populate Austin for the last 11 years. My industry, the Hospitality community serves, stabilizes, grows and supports Austin's broad brush , that is the Austin community. Crossing over across all demographics, cultures, family unit size, industry, lifestyle and political party. We are all Austin, I would like to be a part of the history that will shape the city that I have fallen in love with. A City, I was able to make a living, life, home ownership and a family a reality over time.
