Please describe your relevant analytical skills. I have experience in collaborative team-based approach to analytical research. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, and Outlook.
Please describe your ability to be impartial. I feel that most people, especially at a local government level, are just looking for the best way to make things better. Political Science majors are trained to look at all sides of politics without their own beliefs affecting judgment and I feel that my professors were able to teach me that lesson well. My work as Vice President of Texas States University's Model United Nations and Model Organization of American States team's competitions are based on being able to represent a country without your own opinions impacting debate.

Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. I have lived in Austin for about ten years after my parents moved here from out of state. I went to high school here, started college at Austin Community College and greatly miss the city when I am at Texas State University finishing my degree. Austin is a very diverse city with not just it's local residents but also visitors coming to see our many attractions that I think is very important to the synergy of the city. Austin's area continues to grow, though the land constraints cause the need to find eco-friendly ways to expand. I first learned how much I loved working for a city when working on one of Austin Water's projects to create an app that would let people easily see their water meter numbers at any time. This is a very long term project but would allow people to find leaks as soon as they happen, saving the city water and money. It was amazing to be apart of a project that could do permit good and working with people who had the same types of goals as me. I love Austin and want to hold a position that enhances community life for the city.
