Please describe your ability to be impartial. In order to be impartial, I seek facts and scientific proof. It is always my goal to find a common language and set of facts all parties agree on before moving towards progress.
Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. The City of Austin is an incredible city full of innovation and growth. It is important that Austin bring all parties to the table as it continues to grow, instead of only allowing certain groups/industries to lead. If we do this, we will get closer to protecting a city where diversity is celebrated.
Please provide your employment history. I worked for Communities in Schools of Central Texas from 2009-2018. There I coordinated the Adult Education Program. 2018-Current, I began a position at Austin Community College where I coordinate a few grant funded programs aimed at helping low income, first generation students complete their degrees.
Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. I believe fair and equal representation is key to a healthy community. This allows people a seat and voice at the collective community table which will lead to better solutions to the challenges ahead.
