Please describe your relevant analytical skills. | As an attorney for the State of Texas, I believe I have the skills needed to effectively collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions. On a daily basis, I deal with issues and problems and work to find effective solutions during the litigation process as an environmental attorney. |

I enjoy investigating both sides of an issue and working to determine the best course of action in an impartial way. I am not looking to gain anything personally out of this process. I just wanted to find a way to give back to my City, a city that has given me so much. |

Please provide your employment history. | The Office of the Attorney General Environmental Protection Division, Austin, TX Assistant Attorney General, January 2018 – Present ● Handle a variety of environmental enforcement cases involving the Texas Water Code, Texas Health & Safety Code, and Texas Administrative Code ● Represent various state agencies, including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Veteran’s Land Board ● Counsel client-agencies in both pre-litigation strategy and represent their interests in state court ● Draft petitions and file lawsuits on behalf of the State and its agencies and negotiate settlements with opposing counsel ● Prepare and respond to Interrogatories, Requests for Production, Requests for Admissions, and Requests for Disclosure I am currently an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas (as seen above).
