Please describe your ability to be impartial. | Worked for Travis County Clerk as early voting clerk from 1995 to 2003. I often took ballots to shut ins in nursing homes and made sure no one tampered with them. I also assisted voters who needed extra help. I always followed my oath to respect every vote and be impartial. I also served on the ballot board. I deeply believe in the right of every eligible voter to vote, no matter how or who they choose to vote for. |
Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. | I love Austin and it’s unique diversity. I live south of the river but am part of an east Austin council district, and am frustrated that my council representative ignores my area. He is only interested in East Austin north of the river. |

Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. | During my years of retirement, I have been a volunteer for Dell Seton Hospital, the Paramount Theater and the City of Austin at ABIA. Since the Covid shutdown, these volunteer programs are suspended and I miss my “jobs” very much. I would welcome an opportunity to help my City in this endeavor. |
