Please describe your ability to be impartial. My goal in serving on the commission is to advocate for the use of analytical tools, such as those proposed by autoredistict.org, to draw district boundaries according to population.
Please describe your appreciation for the City of Austin's diverse demographics and geography. The City has always had a diverse population, even prior to the explosive growth that we have experienced in the last 30 years. My goal would be to incorporate those trends into the drawing of geographically and ethnically diverse districts.

Please provide any other information you wish to be considered during the selection of the most qualified applicants for the Commission. I have served as the Chief Financial Officer for a family office whose combined assets are in excess of $1bn. In addition, Mr. Butler, prior to his death in 2009, imbued in all of his employees a sense of public service. He served on the ASID school board that saw the integration of the public schools in Austin. He also served for two terms as Mayor in the early 1970's, leading the charge for the creation of MOPAC and the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail. I hope to accomplish some of the same thing by serving as a commission member.
